Lawrence S. Silver, Attorney at Law, has represented injured clients for over 25 years. Our Clients have been residents of the State of Florida as well as visitors and tourists from around the nation and the world.
Our firm was founded in 1980 and has always focused on representing a small number of clients whose cases demand our full and undivided attention. In our opinion, too many law firms these days promote themselves by proclaiming the large number of cases they handle. It is our philosophy that ultimately it gets down to focusing on a limited number of claims and providing detailed, organized and creative individual attention to each claim.
We have helped clients in claims arising from serious slip, trip and falls, car, bicycle, motorcycle and truck accidents, dog bite attacks, amusement park injuries, cruise ship injuries, defective products, medical malpractice, breach of contract, insurance disputes, stock fraud, Financial issues, Business Issues, Will issues, and more.
We have resolved cases in just a few months without filing a lawsuit and have battled for several years .
We are satisfied to personally represent a limited number of clients year in and year out. It is the only way we know of to devote the needed time, research and resources to maximize each client's opportunity for the best possible result. At times we have recommended that we associate as co-counsel with another Lawfirm in a case. If that is offered the contingency fee charged stays the same. Anotherwords, our Philosophy is not a numbers game. It is about representing our clients best interest, whether it is our firm or more than one firm.

Don't let your rights slip away. The law sets time limits in which you can pursue a claim for your injuries, (Statute of Limitations) and once that time passes, your right to recover for your injuries will be lost.
What is our contingency fee?
We generally handle Personal Injury cases on the basis of a contingent fee contract. That is, we charge a percentage of the amount of money we are able to recover for you and if we are not successful, you do not owe us any attorney's fees. Our contract normally provides that we advance court costs and expenses of litigation. If we are not successful, you do not have to pay us back. If we are successful, it comes out of your recovery. Our fee is based upon a sliding scale that depends in part on how much we recover and when the recovery is made. At the end of the case, we provide you with a complete written explanation of all costs that we have spent and the amount of your fee. At any time while we are handling your claim, you may request and receive an up-to-date written, itemized account of the current expenses and costs.
*Financial Injury Cases have a different Fee structure than Personal Injury Cases. Depending on the case it may be costs plus hourly fee and or contingent fee with retainer. Each case is individually considered and the fee agreed upon in writing prior to acceptance.
